Teen volunteer training

Teens (ages 12-17) interested in volunteering for Neill Public Library’s Summer Reading Program are invited to join the library’s R.A.D.I.C.A.L. (Reaching, Assisting, Directing, and Inspiring Children at the Library) Club. Club members serve as library ambassadors during the summer and help with Summer Reading registration and special library programs. They also provide general assistance in the Youth Services Department.

To serve as a volunteer in the R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Club, teens must attend one training session offered at Neill Public Library. Training sessions: Wednesday, May 18 (4:00-6:00), Wednesday, June 8 (4:00-6:00) and Saturday, June 25 (1:30-3:30).

For more information about this club or other library programs contact Youth Services Librarian, Kathleen Ahern at (509) 338-3258.
