More than 200 children, teens along with their parents and
caregivers joined Neill Public Library staff and renowned children’s songwriter
and musician Victor Johnson at Reaney Park last Thursday. Despite ongoing
construction and challenging parking, a lovely night was had by all. In
addition to wonderful music, the Friends of the Library provided attendees to
an ice cream treats from the Schwan’s truck.
Thanks to everyone who came and helped make it such a
memorable and fun night. And even though Summer Reading 2015 has just
ended, library staff will soon start planning for next year, with a theme of
“On Your Mark, Get Set … Read!” We hope you’ll join us for all the fun to
come!
