Pullman Fire Department display at Neill Public Library through August

Numerous historical items from the Pullman Fire Department are on display at Neill Public Library through August.  Historical items include a collection of various equipment, insignias, patches, pictures and general history with a short explanation on each.  Two of the more exciting items include an original leather fire coat and hat dating back to 1925 belonging to a “Ralph” and a real hydrant with the outside cut out to see the inner workings.  The library is pleased to collaborate with the fire department to share with the community the equipment and traditions of fire service.
