Neill Public Library Presents Never Again: A personal story of
Japanese-American internment during WWII
Neill Public Library invites the community to Never Again: A personal story of
Japanese-American internment during WWII, with longtime Pullman resident
Lianne Inaba. Current events, and the popularity of books such as Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet have led to renewed interest about the
internment of Americans of Japanese descent during World War II. Lianne Inaba will share her personal story
about being born in Camp Amache, a War Relocation Authority camp in Colorado.
This free event takes place Saturday, February
11 at 1:30pm in the Neill Public Library Hecht Room.
The
event is free to the public and requires no registration, but please note
seating is limited. Light refreshments
will be served.
