Are we having more cold weather here this year? Perceptions don't always agree with the facts. People who keep track of the weather know for sure. There will be two opportunities at the library next month to learn how to be a volunteer
NOAA weather spotter. The class dates are Wednesday, April 8, 2-4 p.m. and Saturday, April 11, 2-4 p.m.
Volunteer weather observers provide data such as temperature, precipitation, and snowfall. See
this NOAA site for more information about the services provided by volunteer observers.
Call the library for more information on the classes: 509-334-3595.
