Summer Reading Program starts today. Register between June 11 and June 14 to be entered into the drawing for a $200 grand prize of local merchant gift certificates and items. Register by July 13 and earn 2 free books.
There will be summer programs for elementary age children. In addition, storytimes for ages 0-5 are planned for every week. Teens can join R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Club and volunteer to help with Summer Reading Program.
The grand finale to Summer Reading Program will again feature award-winning children's musician, Victor Johnson, who will perform at Reaney Park on Thursday, July 30, 6:15 -- 7:15 p.m. This program is suitable for all ages. Free ice cream for all the kids!
