Registration begins for Summer Reading Program

Neill Public Library invites all children and youth (birth through teens) to register for Make a Splash and READ, the 2010 Summer Reading Program.  Registration begins at Neill Public Library on Thursday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m.  By registering in person at the library on June 10, 11, or 12 you’re automatically eligible to win a grand prize of local merchant gift certificates and items worth more than $200!  When registering at the library, pick up a free pencil and a reading log to learn how to get FREE books and other great prizes from Friends of the Neill Public Library.

Come and enjoy highly entertaining shows with a pirate comedian, award-winning musicians, magicians, and more!  Additional programs include a Toot and Puddle Celebration, guest readers at storytimes including Mayor Glenn Johnson and members of Pullman Police and Fire Departments and many other fun events.  Teens are encouraged to also join the library’s summer reading volunteer group. Weekly programs for elementary ages along with regular weekly storytimes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers are also scheduled.

All programs are free thanks to the support of Friends of the Neill Public Library.  Everyone is invited to register and participate in all the fun things going on at Neill Public Library in June and July.
