It’s July and the Summer Reading Program for kids and teens
is going gangbuster! We have signed up over 1,200 kids thus far! And if
time has gotten away from you, there’s still time for you to sign up your
little one or have your teen sign up. Just stop in the library soon and you
can join us for all the fun (including free books for the kids and a chance to
win an iPod shuffle for the teens--sign up by July 18th!).
Our weekly programs are continuing with several big events
lined up. We hope to see you at one or all of these great programs
sponsored by the Friends of Neill Public Library.
Friday, July 13, at 10:30 OR 1:30: Bubble Illusionist
Jarom Watts will enchant and mesmerize us all with his amazing bubble skills!
Thursday, July 19, at 10:30: Members of the
Pullman Police Department and the Washington Highway Patrol will be joining us
as guest readers! They will also answers questions the kids (or you!)
have about their important jobs.
Thursday, July 26 at 10:30: Award-winning
children’s musician Victor Johnson will join us for a rhythmically fun
storytime.
Thursday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m.: Victor Johnson will be
entertaining us as only he can … at Reaney Park, for our Summer Reading
finale! Fun for the whole family! FREE ICE CREAM for all the
