National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use. [source]
This year's line up of activities at
NPL will include great events and programs to encourage you to drop by!
- Monday (4/15) Local Author Keith Weller! 6:30pm in the Hecht Room. Copies of Weller's books will be available for purchase on-site.
- Wednesday (4/17) regularly-scheduled Mother Goose Time for babies to 24 months! 9:30am in the Hecht Room.
- Wednesday (4/17) regularly-scheduled Time for Two's storytime for toddlers 2-3! 10:30am in the Hecht Room.
- Wednesday (4/17) Local Author Dr. E. Kirsten Peters! 5:30pm in the Heritage Addition. Copies of Dr. Peters' books will be available for purchase on-site.
- Thursday (4/18) regularly-scheduled Preschool Storytime for children 3-5! 10:30am in the Hecht Room.
- Thursday (4/18) Local Author Brandon Schrand! 5:30pm in the Heritage Addition. Copies of Schrand's books will be available for purchase on-site.
- Thursday (4/18) and Friday (4/19) staff will be dressed as book characters.
- Plus! Surprise Events and prize drawings from our very own Friends of Neill Public Library!
