Concert Series at Neill Public Library:
October 3rd, October 17th, and October 24th,
5:30pm
Join us
at Neill Public Library select Thursdays in October to enjoy performances by
local and national musicians. All events
will begin at 5:30pm in the Hecht Meeting Room.
October 3rd: Borderline Blue,
featuring local musicians Patrick Adams, Gary Scheer, and Keri LeForce, play a
mix of classic rock,
classic country, and classic jazz with a blues twist. Although all three members have played with
other area music groups—including Hog Heaven Big Band, Off Leash, Soulstice,
and more—for many years, NPL is pleased to host Borderline Blue’s debut!
October 17th: British Art Songs will be
performed by local musicians Juliana M. Witt and Dr. Brian Carter. Juliana is a classically-trained pianist, and
Brian is an Instructor of Music at WSU.
October
24th: Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher will
appear at Neill Public Library as part of his national tour for the release of
his new CD, to be released this fall. Major
works on the concert program will include Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring
and the Suite Compostelana by Federico Mompou.
Copies of the CD will be available at the concert.
All
events are free and open to the public.
