Event/Date: Pullman Arts Commission seeks candidates for board of commissioners

The Pullman Arts Commission is seeking candidates to serve on its board of commissioners. Two positions are currently open for partial-term appointment of 1 year (January – December).  A full term is 3 years. The Commission meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. in Neill Public Library’s Hecht Meeting Room. 

The Pullman Arts Commission (PAC) cultivates the visual and performing arts to enrich the quality of life of the community through its vision, advocacy, and financial support, connecting residents, students and visitors to diverse aesthetic and cultural experiences. This Commission works to acquire City Council approved artwork for the City and is responsible for the acquisition, documentation and conservation of the City art collection. 

Persons interested in working with the arts in Pullman can find the application online at: www.pullman-wa.gov or in hardcopy at Neill Public Library.  To be considered, November 18, 2013 is the deadline for application submission to Mayor Glenn Johnson, City Hall, 325 SE Paradise St, Pullman, WA 99163.
