Local author Janet Richards will discuss her book Crossing
the River Sorrow at Neill Public Library, beginning at 5:30 pm in
the Hecht Room on Tuesday, April 15th.
Many people are troubled by the inscrutable, inequitable
nature of human adversity. C.S.Lewis called it the problem of pain. In
her memoir, Janet, a longtime nurse, takes a look this issue through the
poignant, sometimes humorous stories of her career, as she traveled the River
Sorrow with her patients and beyond, and lived her way to a place of peace.
Copies of Crossing the River Sorrow will be available
on site through Book People of Moscow.
