Would you like a tie with that?

Where do you see yourself next year?  Where can you imagine yourself?  For Administrative Professionals Day 2015-- one year from today, by the way-- could you be in a new job or a new career?  Would you like to be?

For resume-writing tips, ask staff at the Information Desk to point you to the shelves at 650.14, or try searching for “resume” in our eLibrary database; you just need your library card to access this resource free from home.

To master Microsoft Word's many templates, including it's templates for cover letters and resumes, take advantage of our free access to Microsoft's IT Academy; the instructions here will help you get started, and then you can jump into any of the hundreds of courses, including dozens (and dozens!) focused on the Microsoft Office Suite.  Access this resource from home, or use it here on the library's public computers.  Then use the library's computer to master your new skills-- Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Publisher, are available on all the public internet stations, thanks to Microsoft and the Washington State Legislature.
