Peter Battaglia, son of Jeffrey Battaglia of Pullman is Neill Public Library’s Teen Summer Reading Program grand prize winner. He received an eReader from the Friends of Neill Public Library. Peter is a seventh grader at Palouse Hills Christian School. He is an avid reader who especially enjoys graphic novel comics as well as books about sports and history. When he’s not reading he enjoys playing baseball and football.
Beatrice Nakanyike, of Pullman is Neill Public Library's Adult Summer Reading Program grand prize winner. She received a cooking themed prize pack with cookbooks, kitchen gadgets, merchant coupons and an eReader/Tablet from the Friends of Neill Public Library. Beatrice is new to the community and stated that reading at the library has helped her to become a better writer. She appreciates the library and how welcome she feels here.
