Celebrate
art in Pullman with ArtWalk 2016 - an innovative art experience for people of
all ages! Pullman comes alive with exhibits,
workshops, and live performances from over 35 artists at 24 different locations
downtown! This event features pop-up projects, activities for children and
adults, and other displays designed to promote and celebrate the arts in our
region.
This
event is made possible by a partnership between the Pullman Arts Commission,
regional artists, and local businesses.
Funding is provided by a Lodging & Tourism grant award and local
matches. Festivities begin with a
special children’s storytime at Neill Public Library on Thursday, May 12 at
11:00 am, followed by a series of workshops and other entertainment that
afternoon and evening including the presentation of the Mayor’s Award at 5pm at
the Regional Theatre of the Palouse, followed by the unveiling of Pullman’s
first Utility Box Art Wrap, and an artist meet and greet. All other art exhibits, workshops, and live
