Mayor Glenn Johnson was Neill Public Library’s guest
storytime reader on Thursday, June 16. He had a large and enthusiastic
crowd of over a hundred little and big folks, all of whom enjoyed listening to
the books he read aloud, with great enthusiasm and gusto! Attendees also
joined Mayor Johnson in his rallying calls of “Here Come the Cougs ….. “ and
“That’s another Cougar first down!”
His storytime concluded with him reading aloud his favorite
picture book – “The Baby Beebee Bird” by Diane Massie. From roaring lions
to growling bears, audience members participated in this noisy-no sleep-zoo-funny-book!
Each child left the library with a free swim pass to the Pullman Aquatic
Center/Reaney Pool and Splash Pad, compliments of Pullman Parks and Recreation
Department. What a fun morning for all! Thanks Mayor Johnson!
