Yes, Your Library is Still Open!

Yes, your library is still open, despite the destruction of the parking lot, which began last week.

The city parking lot next to Neill Public Library is closed for the retrofitting of several Low Impact Development features to better handle stormwater runoff. The installation of permeable pavers, a Filterra tree box, a bioretention swale, and a hydrodynamic separator will help remove pollutants to improve the quality of the water flowing into the adjacent river.  Construction is expected to continue through October.  The library's open hours remain the same and both entrances are open for pedestrian access.

Now is the perfect time to try visiting the library by bus...for free! Stop by the library to pick up your complimentary Pullman Transit bus tokens, courtesy of Friends of Neill Public Library. Let your Friends get you to and from the library in style!

Funding for this project is provided by the Washington State Department of Ecology Stormwater Grant Program and City of Pullman Stormwater Utility Fund.  Please contact Clayton Forsmann, Deputy Public Works Directory at (509) 338-3222 for more information about this project.
