The Neill Public Library Board of Trustees is pleased to
announce the library’s open hours will be restored to pre-recession levels
effective January 3, 2017. The new schedule will be:
- Monday through Thursday, 9am – 7pm
- Friday and Saturday, 12pm – 6pm
The 11 restored hours adds five morning, two afternoon, and
four evening hours, yielding a 52-hour per week operation while providing an
easy to remember schedule for users. Restoration of hours has been the
service most requested by patrons since city-wide budget cuts began in 2010.
This schedule is based on patron feedback, usage statistics,
financial resources, and staffing levels. The Library Board thanks the
City for its support in stabilizing library operations.
