Current events, and the popularity of books
such as Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and
Sweet have led to renewed interest about the internment of Americans of
Japanese descent during World War II.
Lianne Inaba will share her personal story about being born in Camp
Amache, a War Relocation Authority camp in Colorado.
This free event takes place Saturday, March 11
at 1:00pm in the Neill Public Library Hecht Room.
The
event requires no registration, but please note
seating is limited. Light refreshments
will be served.
