Neill Public Library showcases oil paintings by local artist
Joe Brunelli. Works from his exhibit, Eastern Washington, are
inspired by landscape and life from this region of our state. Dr.
Brunelli received his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from University of Wyoming and
his Ph.D. in genetics and cell biology from Washington State University.
For Brunelli, art and science were “mediums in portraying the unity and creativity
of life”.
Now retired, Brunelli enjoys creating art for the “process
of attempting to render a concept into a palpable vision”. Creation, he
says, seems like a contradiction to achieving perfection through a final touch.
This exhibit runs through June 30. For more
