Food For Fines: Dec. 1-14

Neill Public Library is offering patrons the opportunity to waive their overdue fines on library materials by bringing in a donation of non-perishable food items. Items that are particularly important include cans of tuna fish, one and two pound bags of rice, cereal, canned tomato products and canned fruit. The food drive will benefit the Pullman Child Welfare and Community Action Center Food Banks.

The need in our community for food is great. Both local food banks indicate an increased use of more than 45% when comparing this year to last year. Neill Public Library is urging everyone to do their part to help those in need in our community and at the same time, have their overdue library fines waived.
