Welcome to our new librarian

Cheryl Brinkley has arrived and jumped with both feet into the role of our new Adult Services Librarian. She is in charge of all the adult collections and programming in the library.

Cheryl comes to Neill Public from the Freedom Regional Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she recently served as Information Services Librarian. Her public library career also includes former jobs as Teen Librarian and Head of Adult Services. The NPL staff and library board look forward to working with Cheryl.

"I'm enjoying getting to know the Pullman area and community. Also, I'm looking forward to working with the fantastic team here at NPL to insure that the library continues to be a preferred destination for Pullman's informational and recreational needs," says Cheryl.

Stop by the library and help us welcome Cheryl to Pullman and NPL!

I am happy to see we now have an adult services librarian. The adult collection has been quite poor of late. Checking the new books, I have seen few books of interest to me. They seemed to be geared to one type of reader and lack variety. The new CD books have been few and far between. Best Sellers seem to have disappeared.

I look forward to seeing more titles with more variety in the adult collections. Thank you and welcome.
