Free English Conversation Club on Mondays

Adults are invited to join a free English as a Second Language (ESL) Conversation Club to practice their English language skills.  The club meets weekly, Monday 5:30-6:30, in the library’s Hecht Meeting Room for an informal, social group conversation.  It is led by library volunteer Louise Barber.

Louise was born and educated in the eastern United States but has been a resident of the west since 1973.  Her interest in teaching English as a Foreign Language comes from spending years abroad in Norway, Spain and most recently in the Peace Corps in Ukraine.  In addition to holding a B.A. in Art History from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Louise is newly certified to teach ESL/EFL.  For more information on the Conversation Club, please contact Louise at 208-882-4899 or louised.barber@gmail.com.
