Celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week, October 17 - 23, 2010

Neill Public Library will celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week, October 17 - 23. In 2009, the Friends of Neill Public Library donated $22,899 to provide additional resources for library programming, revitalization to material collections and other special events throughout the year. Their gift of personal time and commitment to the library sets an example for all in how volunteerism leads to positive civic engagement and the betterment of our community. Stop by the Friends' membership table this week and enter to win free literacy-themed baskets. Winners will be randomly selected at the end of this week.
