WSU graduate students Sara Strouse, Amanda Kennedy, Seth Clark and senior Adam Lawler from the School of Architecture and Construction Management assembled a design competition for a new “Welcome to Pullman” sign that will be placed on Davis Way. Ten entries were received and the top two designs will be on display at Neill Library April 17 – 23. The community is encouraged to view these designs and vote for their favorite. WSU students will present both designs to the Pullman City Council on April 24th.
This competition originated from the Northwest and Pacific Region American Institute of Architects Leadership Institute conference. This year’s program focus is to find a way to unite architecture students with the local community. This competition is the School’s way of creating that link and giving back to the Pullman community.
