Commenter's Challenge

It's fantastic to see so many people reading and sharing our posts!  To get a little discussion going, the library hereby issues readers this challenge:  submit a comment to this post anytime this week for a shot at a free book!

Here are the qualifiers:
1.  Submit a comment to this post, between now and 12 noon, June 15th.
2.  Your comment can be anything, from a sonnet on your deep and abiding love for the library, on down to just your name.
3.  We'll need a way to contact you (email perhaps) if you post without a blogger account, or leave your full name if you have a library card.  Do NOT leave your library card number!

We'll choose a winner (or winners!) at random for one of our Adult Summer Reading Program prizes!  This event is to encourage you to interact with the library a little more through our virtual spaces; you are welcome to comment on our posts with suggestions, requests, and comments.  (All comments are moderated, and while we respect your freedom of speech to disagree with us or other commentators, we reserve the right to deny comments that are slanderous, hateful, inflammatory, or use foul language.  This is a family-friendly blog, after all!)

Good luck and thanks for your participation!

I feel very lucky to live in a town that has such a great, vibrant library. It truly is a community gathering place. I think I'm in it 3-4 times in any week!

There's nothing quite like a good book and soaking up the sun in the Palouse. I just finished Border Songs by Jim Lynch and that is just the type of good book a person can sink right into.

We had Conchetta, one of our fantastic RADICAL teen volunteers, pull a name out of hat. Runningscheer, it's you! Thanks to Sara and Constance for participating, and keep coming in to the library!
