Do You Mango?

Mango Languages, a language-learning tool, is by far one of our most popular database offerings.  You've all had over 1100 sessions since we started offering the database early in 2010, and use continues to rise slowly but steadily (about 2% a month).  We're so glad we can offer this great tool, and it's thanks to the Friends, by the way: the Friends of Neill Public Library funded the subscription to this resource for both 2012 and 2013.

And now there's more to love about Mango.  In addition to the 15 ESL courses and 44 foreign language courses-- including, among so many others, Norwegian, Czech, and German-- Mango has just added 4 new languages to love: Romanian, Swahili, Egyptian Arabic, and Modern Standard Arabic.  Now the list of languages is 48 long and stretches from Arabic (Egyptian) through Vietnamese.
